Compact but wonderfully versatile, the J&L by PROCHEF 21cm Enamelled Cast Iron Casserole Dish is ideal for smaller-batch cooking. Use it for slow-cooked beef or lamb, fragrant curries, soups and casseroles, or take advantage of cast iron’s excellent heat retention for baking a crusty sourdough loaf. It’s equally at home making shakshuka, risotto, cobblers and other dishes you can bring straight from oven to table.

Made from substantial cast iron with a PFAS/PFOA-free enamelled cooking surface, it’s designed for years of regular use. The durable enamel is easy to care for and provides a non-reactive surface for cooking with acidic ingredients such as tomatoes, wine and citrus.

For the best longevity, allow the casserole to cool before washing and avoid sudden temperature changes. Clean with warm water, washing-up liquid and a soft sponge, soaking stubborn residue rather than using abrasive scourers. Dry thoroughly before storing to help keep the enamelled cast iron looking its best.
