Pairing a deep casserole with a wide, shallow casserole, the J&L by PROCHEF 2-Piece Cast Iron Casserole Set gives you two distinctly different pieces for family cooking, entertaining and generous one-pan meals.

  • 26cm round casserole dish: Ideal for family-sized stews and curries, batch-cooked soups and chilli, slow-braised joints or roasting a whole small chicken with vegetables.
  • 30cm shallow casserole dish: Perfect for paella, creamy risotto, chicken cacciatore, pasta bakes and gratins, with a broad base that gives ingredients plenty of room to brown and sear.

Made from substantial cast iron with PFAS/PFOA-free enamelled cooking surfaces, both casseroles are designed for years of regular use. The durable enamel is easy to care for and provides a non-reactive surface for cooking with acidic ingredients such as tomatoes, wine and citrus.

For everyday care, the smooth enamelled surfaces are easy to wipe clean after cooking. For a deeper clean, allow the casseroles to cool before washing and avoid sudden temperature changes. Clean with warm water, washing-up liquid and a soft sponge, soaking stubborn residue rather than using abrasive scourers. Dry thoroughly before storing to help keep the enamelled cast iron looking its best.
